Beautiful fabrics, bespoke headboards and blinds, Pooky lighting and wonderfully comfortable beds sit alongside the character and quirks of our old Cotswold inn. Every detail has been carefully chosen to make staying upstairs feel just that little bit special.
With all the comfort and little luxuries you could wish for, everything you need for a rather lovely stay is already taken care of.

HARE
Small but perfectly formed.
Rich green tones and an original Cotswold stone feature wall give Hare a warm and inviting feel, with views out over the gardens.
Our most intimate room, Hare has a comfortable king-size bed and walk-in shower, with plenty of character packed into a beautifully formed space.

PHEASANT
Tucked into the eaves and full of character.
Deep blue tones and dark original beams give Pheasant a warm, cocooning feel. Set within the eaves and looking out over the pretty village of Cold Aston, it’s a characterful room with a comfortable king-size bed.
The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower — just the thing for a long soak at the end of the day.

Muntjac
Light, elegant and beautifully relaxed.
Set within the eaves, Muntjac is a generously sized room where soft florals and a gentle palette sit beautifully alongside rich dark walnut furniture, with views over the pretty village of Cold Aston.
The super king bed can also be arranged as twins, making Muntjac a wonderfully flexible room, while the generous bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Please note: A small step leads into the bathroom.

Barn Owl Suite
Dark, decadent and made for lingering.
Rich truffle tones, deep burgundy and dark walnut furniture give Barn Owl its wonderfully moody feel. Our largest room, there’s plenty of space to settle in, with a super king bed, sofa bed and table and chairs for slow mornings or a quiet drink before dinner.
The separate bathroom is every bit as special, with rich burgundy tiles, a freestanding roll-top bath, separate walk-in shower and double vanity — and from the window you’ll likely spot the sheep grazing in the fields beyond.

A FEW LITTLE LUXURIES
We’ve thought about the little things, so you don’t have to.
Whichever room you choose, you’ll find everything you need to settle in - Nespresso coffee machines, beautifully soft bed linen, fluffy towels, Smart TVs, steam irons and hairdryers, along with a few thoughtful touches of our own.
In the bathrooms, you’ll find Wild England’s luxury organic and natural shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, infused with uplifting botanical scents.
And, most importantly, a seriously comfortable bed you might find rather difficult to leave in the morning.
